Christopher Clayton joins firm from Close Borthers

Begbies Traynor has brought in a new partner to work in its London pensions
advisory team.
Christopher Clayton joins the Top 15 firm from Close Brothers Corporate
Finance, where he was managing director and head of its pensions advisory group.
He will be working closely with Len Fawke, the former head of specific scheme
funding at the Pensions Regulator, having spent nine months on secondment there
himself.
Clayton was also director of the pensions group and corporate finance at
Grant Thornton, responsible for M&A and corporate covenant reviews.
