SBA Communications has promoted Brendan Cavanagh, its vice president and chief accounting officer, to senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective of September 12.
He succeeds Anthony Macaione, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities, CBR reports.
In addition, Brian Lazarus, the company's corporate controller, has been appointed vice president and chief accounting officer to succeed Cavanagh.
Cavanagh, who joined the company in 1998, has served the company in several roles, including as vice president of site administration and financial analyst of mergers and acquisitions. Before joining SBA, Cavanagh was a senior accountant for Arthur Andersen.
