Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting, the publisher and software company, has
bought CI Consultancy Limited, a financial software supplier for an undisclosed
sum. Ci3, which is based in Ireland and has more than 3,000 users in Europe,
North America and Asia Pacific, makes enterprise risk management (ERM) software,
governance, risk and compliance software and also provides IT consulting
services.
Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting, which is part of Wolters Kluwer, the
Netherlands-based business publisher, said the acquisition of Ci3 will help it
expand its business into enterprise risk management.
“With CCH’s existing strength in the corporate internal audit market, our
expanding global footprint and the resources we can invest in product expansion,
this acquisition will significantly advance our ability to meet the growing need
for tightly integrated audit and risk management solutions across the full
spectrum of the market,” said Kevin Robert, chief executive officer of Wolters
Kluwer Tax and Accounting.
