Alistair Darling and City Minister Lord Myners will call for representatives
of the G7 nations to subscribe to a common policy on bank taxes and regulation.
The Chancellor and Lord Myners will sit down with officials to ensure banks
will not need to be rescued with taxpayer funds in the future, the Daily
Mail reported.
Representatives of the International Monetary Fund, the Financial Services
Authority and the Bank of England will be at the meeting.
