Deloitte staff score bonuses of more than £0.5m

Deloitte more than 500 staff at its Manchester office with a £1000 bonus each after helping the firm to meet a £2bn revenue target, following a 11% lift in revenues this year 2.01bn.

The bonus is part of a payout to 12,000 staff worldwide, following a drive by global chairman and UK boss John Connolly to pass the £2bn revenue target in two years, reports Manchester Evening News.

The bonus co-incides with a series of promotions at Deloitte Manchester, including two new partners and 13 new directors. The new partners are Jodi Birkett, who works in the firm's transaction services team, and David O'Leary, in corporate tax.

The new directors are Jennifer Hazlehurst, Peter Birch, Gareth Hitchmough, Tim Shaw, Gabrielle McParlin, Anna Keogh, Ruth Woolmer, Joanne Ahmed, Mark Taylor, Dawood Ahmedji, Iain Ashworth, Andrew MacKinnon and Clare Boardman.
