The Treasury Select Committee's grilling of Northern Rock auditor PwC will be 'vigorous', according to a senior MP.
The firm is set to be quizzed by MPs later today, with senior Tory MP Michael Fallon saying the questioning would be 'vigorous', The Times reported.
The firm is expected to be quizzed on allegations of conflicts of interest, denied by sources close to the firm, among other things.
PwC's head of assurance Richard Sexton is appearing before the panel alongside a colleague. Sexton is due to appear at 10:30am.
