Floors-2-Go, the 132 store UK retailer, has entered into administration.
Administrators from Kroll were appointed to the company after Floors-2-Go experienced a downturn in sales.
The administrators have closed down 41 stores and made 97 of its 450 employees redundant.
'Floors-2-Go has a strong brand, a well-dispersed nationwide network of stores, an established online presence and a contracts division, so despite the harsh trading conditions, we remain hopeful of selling the business as a going concern,' said joint administrator Fraser Gray.
'Floors-2-Go will continue to trade whilst we review all options for the business.'
Any customers with concerns about their orders should contact +44 (0) 121 380 5015. Arrangements have been put in place to honour existing orders and deposits.
