More students than ever passed Association of Chartered Certified Accountants exams last year, with 6,447 becoming certified.
Pass rates also improved, with 182,449 taking 365,528 papers when the exams were held last December.
ACCA now has 325,606 students and 122,426 members in 170 countries. It has recently launched a website aimed at providing support for members in dealing with the global financial crisis. Members can share ideas and resources via discussion boards.
