Sage has targeted the UK's 14,000 small practitioners with the launch of Sage Instant Accounts Production, which promises to offer accountants an automated system with low maintenance costs.
'We’ve brought out Sage Instant Accounts Production to help accountants who may still be using spreadsheets to prepare accounts, to give them a new level of efficiency and compliance,' said Greg Ford, managing director of Sage's accountants division.
Features offered in the new package include a number of key nominal ledgers, journals and reports. Users will be able to move information between Sage Instant Accounts and Excel as well as Word and PDF.
'We understand the legislation and can interpret what is needed out of the system to meet requirements in reality,' Ford said.
