Arrouays takes CFO role at SAP

Frederic Arrouays had been appointed chief financial officer of SAP's UK and Ireland operations.

Arrouays is promoted from CFO of Business Objects for Europe Middle East and Africa and having started with the company as internal audit director in 2000. He has also worked as regional finance director.

His primary responsibilities will be to drive financial performance and support commercial strategies in the UK as well as tackle compliance and maximise cash flow.

Arrouays said: 'We need to continue to hone in on and manage the financial risks brought by the recession, driving efficiencies through timely, informed decisions and easy process management.

He joined SAP from car manufacturer Renault where he was internal audit manager and prior to that worked as senior auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers as well as holding senior finance roles at global bank BNP Paribas.
