FD moves from Polaroid to Shell

Judy Boynton, former chief financial officer of Polaroid, will become director of finance and chief financial officer from 1 June replacing Steve Hodge who retires in September after 34 years at the company.

Boynton, 46, previously worked at Amoco where she was made vice-president and controller in 1996.

Speaking on her appointment, Boynton said: 'I'm really looking forward to the challenge of working for the group, particularly at such an exciting time in its history.'

  • Meanwhile, the finance director at hotel group Millennium & Copthorne has resigned.

`David Cook, wished to 'pursue other challenges', the company, which operates hotels throughout the UK, said.
