A British shoe designer whose footwear has graced film stars and celebrities such as Keira Knightly and Chelsea star Frank Lampard, has seen one of her companies enter administration.
Administrators from Shipleys have been appointed to Emma Hope Shoes Limited. Emma Hope has designed shoes for Paul Smith, Anna Sui and Mulberry, as well as for the film Pride and Prejudice, and actress Uma Thurman.
A spokeswoman said that Hope's stores were still trading, and wholesale supplies would continue.
Three other companies registered to Emma Hope: Emma Hope Shoes (Retail) Limited; Emma Hope Shoes (Wholesale) Limited; and Emma Hope Limited are not in administration.
Shipleys was unavailable for comment as Accountancy Age went to press.
