Begbies Traynor’s Mark Fry and David Hudson, joint administrators of Southampton Leisure said they would appeal the Football League’s decision to deduct points from the already relegated team. ‘The ten-point deduction is outrageous coming from the Football League, whose own charter says it is a “listening organisation”,’ said Fry in The Times.
GT’s report concluded that the holding company’s income derived from the football club and stadium company, and the holding company, club and stadium company are ‘inextricably linked’ as one entity, stated the Football League.
