Standard Life appoints interim CFO

Standard Life has announced that Jackie Hunt is to take over as interim chief financial officer following David Nish’s promotion to chief executive.

Hunt, formerly deputy group financial director, takes over Nish’s old role from today (9 November) while the board searches for a permanent replacement. She will attend board meetings as group CFO, but will not officially be appointed to the board.

Hunt joined Standard Life from Norwich Union Insurance at the start of the year, where she was CFO.
