Online accountancy technology provider FinancialForce.com has teamed up with payment software company Albany to create a more streamlined financial package.
FinancialForce.com will add the Albany ePayments component to its software allowing customers to make bacs payments, fund transfers and confirmation of payments online.
FinancialForce.com was launched earlier this year and is one of the first accountancy packages built for online use and aimed at larger businesses.
Adrian Stafford-Jones, MD of Albany Software, said: “In today’s business it is essential for any accounting solution to have an effective and efficient payment option on offer to enable its customers’ greater control over all electronic funds transactions, consequently improving their cash flow and providing accurate budgeting."
Debbie Ashton, VP for product for FinancialForce.com, said: “In working with Albany, we benefit from their expertise in electronic fund transfers and their close relationship with the UK banking community."
"In adding Albany ePAYMENTS to our FinancialForce.com solution we can now offer our customers a fully automated on demand, end-to-end payment system which streamlines the process and adds even greater operational efficiency,” she added.
