Accountancy technology company, Coda, has launched its latest online accountancy application which will now incorporate the full spectrum of the accounts division.

Coda2Go Spring '09 is an extension of its predecessor and will now include general ledger, accounts payable and receivable as well as spreadsheet integration through the online platform Software as a Service.

The latest upgrade is the first accountancy application that is built on the salesforce.com customer relationship management software, one of the biggest players in the SaaS market.

Jeremy Roche, CEO of Coda said: 'This release builds on Coda’s 30 years’ experience in developing best of class accounting software. It is simple to set up and use and cost effective to run, and for many companies and subsidiaries, will better meet their accounting requirements than on-premises software.'

'We expect it to quickly become the de facto cloud accounting solution for salesforce.com customers, as well as those companies that are looking for an on demand accounting application that is more sophisticated than others on the market, without the complexity and cost that often implies' he added.
