Fee-based independent financial advisor Conforto has appointed former Ernst & Young senior partner Peter Klauber its chairman.
Known for its expertise in advising high end clients, particularly elite sports people, Conforto has recently made two acquisitions and recruited staff as part of its aim to build the company to £500m assets under management, the Financial Times reports.
Klauber has more than 30 years of experience as a chartered accountant, including 10 years advising small and medium-sized businesses on strategy and development.
In the past two years he was based in London with specific responsibilities for client account management and developing business networks.
