Forensic accountants are leading investigations under the FA Premier League bung inquiry, which was triggered by Luton manager Mike Newell's claims that the game was rife with under-the-table payments.
Headed by former Metropolitan Police commissioner Lord Stevens, the inquiry will use accountants and investigators from his own firm Quest. Ten staff from Quest will work on the investigation.
Several hundred Premier League transfers will be focused on what took place since 2004, with the inquiry expected to last six months.
