Unilever's new CFO will be Jean-Marc Huet.
Currently CFO at Bristol-Myers Squibb, he joins the business on 1 January.
Huet previously held the CFO role for Royal Numico before joining Squibb in March 2008, and holds an MBA from INSEAD in France.
James Lawrence stepped down as CFO from the Dove Soap-to-Magnum ice cream producer earlier in the month.
