Marc Lombardo has taken up his post as finance director at Blacks Leisure.

Lombardo was previously the group financial planning director at Greene King and was first announced as the replacement for Keith Fleming back in May.

Blacks is in the middle of a turnaround plan after a £2m black hole was uncovered at its Sandcity division earlier this year.

David Bernstein, chairman of Blacks Leisure said: 'Marc Lombardo is an experienced and talented finance executive and I am delighted to welcome him to the Blacks senior team. I am confident that he will work well with [chief executive] Neil Gillis to implement the turnaround plan,' theappointment.co.uk reported.
