WHILE SHOPPING around our local Tesco the TS desk was surprised to fall upon in-store chatter regarding head office workers taking up shelf-stacking.
It seems every Tesco employee has to be part of the team and "do their time" in local stores.
TS also heard that the chief financial officer Laurie McIlwee and chief executive Philip Clarke are not exempt from undertaking at least one week's manual labour every year.
Now, where is McIlwee's local Tesco?
