What is significant about the latest Special Commissioners' judgment on inheritance tax? Well, some people are saying that it devalues the wife's contribution to a marriage. If you want to read the judgment, it's here (as an aside, it doesn't appear to have come out last week as some suggest, but in February).

I feel very strongly about this miscarriage of justice. Our choice is that my partner stays at home and looks after the children, but the official government stance seems to now be that you only matter if you are paying lots of lovely taxes to the state.

I return home to find out also that Rick Sanchez was terminated from CNN. Hmm. Yeah, I have seen that coming.
