Two more WorldCom execs plead guilty

The prosecution of former WorldCom executives continued yesterday as two high ranking accountants pleaded guilty to fraud.

Betty Vinson, the former director of management reporting and Troy Normand, director of legal entity accounting, both admitted securities and conspiracy fraud.

It brings the total of ex company executives that have struck deals with the US justice department to four, all of which are expected to offer evidence in the prosecutors quest for their main target, former chief executive Bernie Ebbers.
