A UBS banker is to plead guilty in a US tax fraud inquiry, US papers reported.
Bradley Birkenfeld, formerly a senior private banker with the Swiss bank, is to offer a 'confession' according to court documents cited by the New York Times.
He has been accused of helping a property developer evade taxes on $200m (£100m) held in accounts in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
He had initially pleaded not guilty.
The paper also said that the confession would implicate others at the bank and other financial institutions.
UBS has not commented.
