Written by accountancyAge.com

Iris, the business software group, has struck a deal with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (Lamda) to supply it with a full management system.

The deal, struck at the recent Softworld trade show in Hammersmith, will see Lamda use Iris's core financials, project costing, visual report writer and payroll programmes.

Cyril Wood, finance director at the Academy said: 'We were most impressed with the level of expertise demonstrated by the Iris Exchequer team. Their in-depth understanding of accounting procedures persuaded us to take the discussion further.'

The implementation of the Iris Exchequer system is expected to return significant time savings for the finance department, by making reporting easier.

Stuart Dawson, Iris Exchequer managing director, said the company was 'delighted' to have secured the Lamda deal.
