COA says acquisition will enhance group's business suite

Written by Nicholas Neveling

COA Solutions has added additional capability to its business suite with the acquisition of e-procurement specialist Belimin Group.

COA's Smart Business Suite will now offer e-procurement capability alongside its finance, human resource, payroll, procurement, business intelligence and document management solutions.

Belmin software has 100,000 users across the public sector and is particularly strong in healthcare, with 75 NHS hospitals using the technology.

'We’re always looking to add value to our sector-focused software and services and with Belmin’s best of breed procurement solutions together with its extensive knowledge and experience of the healthcare sector, the company is a perfect fit,' said COA Solutions managing director Mark Thompson.

Belmin will continue to operate from its Bridgwater offices and will continue to support existing customers. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

The deal is the eighth executed by COA Solutions in the last five years.
