Accounting for Sustainability project will unveil its recommendations tomorrow, with chancellor in attendance

The Prince of Wales is to unveil his plans to overhaul corporates' green accounting tomorrow.
The long-running 'Accounting for Sustainability' report will be unveiled tomorrow at St James's Palace, at which findings and recommendations are set to be released.
The Prince of Wales will deliver a speech, alongside chancellor Alistair Darling, Sir Mike Rake from BT and Justin King from J Sainsburys.
More than 40 people have been working on the project, with the Prince's interest in the project stretching back several years.
Sir Michael Peat, the Prince's personal private secretary, wrote in Accountancy Age earlier this year: 'At the moment companies and organisations often lack the internal processes which would make sustainability a natural part of strategy and day-to-day management. They also often lack the reporting model which would ensure that sustainability takes its place alongside other important information that investors, employees and consumers want and need to see.'
