Coda fills Dolcis finance shoes

Coda wins deal to install Dream software at shoe retailer Dolcis

Written by Nicholas Neveling

Accounting software group Coda has sealed a deal with leading high street shoe retailer Dolcis to install its Dream product.

Dream is a Windows-based application that promises easy-to-use systems and interfaces. Input screens can be tailored to suit each user, and the software offers a unified ledger design and instant transaction posting.

'Dream is particularly useful for retailers as it includes integral purchasing functionality,' said Dolcis finance director Richard Clark.

He added: 'As well as browser-based purchase order handling, it includes sales order processing functionality, including the handling of order commitments and changes, order status review, allocation of discounts and invoice production.'

In addition to Dream, Dolcis has purchased licenses for CODA’s DreamView reporting tool. This gives Dolcis access to external reporting from the Dream software, allowing the company to interrogate data and prepare custom reports.
