Conservative think tank calls for large listed business to disclose their greenhouse gas emissions in their financial reporting

A Conservative think tank led by Ecologist editor Zac Goldsmith and former environment minister John Gummer has called for large listed business to disclose their greenhouse gas emissions in their financial reporting.

The proposal, which comes out of the Tory ‘Quality of Life’ Commission set up by David Cameron, targets listed companies turning over more than £22.8m.
