BDO warns on 'superwoman' fund

Fund management group Bramdean's losses threaten future as a going concern, say auditors

BDO has warned of 'significant doubt' that a fund management group set up by 'superwoman' Nicola Horlick can continue as a going concern.

Bramdean Asset Management made a loss of £3.75m in its first 18 months.

BDO Stoy Hayward said the figures raised 'a material uncertainty' at Bramdean, but said the results were 'not qualified,' The Telegraph reported.

Horlick became well known for maintaing both her high-flying job and a large family, and also for taking on her management at Morgan Grenfell.
