Syscap hails MBO success

A year after management buy-out the leasing firm claims a 'record breaking' July

Written by Sara Yirrell

Leasing specialist Syscap has hailed July a ‘record breaking’ month after generating more than £32.5m in turnover.

The ambitious firm claimed the figure represents more than 25 per cent of its entire 2006 turnover, and proves the success of its management buy out (MBO) decision last July (CRN 24 July). It is now aiming to smash the £200m turnover barrier for its 2007 financials.

Philip White, chief executive of Syscap, said: “July’s outstanding sales figures are a true reflection of Syscap’s performance and focus over the past year and a very rewarding outcome for everyone involved. Greater efficiency, a more focused sales approach, stronger relationships with business partners and a widening of the net beyond the UK market, meant that July was our biggest single trading month, with fantastic contributions from across the whole business.”
