Mary Keegan no longer Treasury FD

Keegan has stepped down as Treasury FD, and will concentrate on working as the government's finance boss

Written by Kevin Reed

Government finance chief Mary Keegan has stepped down as FD of the Treasury.

Keegan, who has been replaced by Louise Tulett, will continue to work as head of the government's finance profession and MD of financial management.

She stepped down from the Treasury position in June to concentrate on her other roles and spend more time with her partner.

Tulett takes on the role of finance and procurement director for the Treasury group, which includes HM Treasury, the Office of Government Commerce and the debt management office.

Tulett worked in the NHS before joining the Treasury in 2000. She was most recently group head of finance and procurement.
