Begbies results bode well for growth targets

Begbies grows turnover and profits, and is in line to double them over the next three years

Begbies Traynor grew revenues to £45m for its year-end to 30 April, and operating profit to £10m, reiterating its promise to double its topline figures over the next three years.

The business recovery and corporate finance firm posted £10m profits for 2006/2007, up 29% from £7.8m a year earlier.

Turnover had increased by 35% from £33.2m in 2006.

Executive chairman Ric Traynor said the firm was in line to deliver revenues of £100m by 2010.

'I remain confident that we will be able to attract the people we need and will achieve our goal of doubling the turnover, profits and value of the group over the next three years,' said Traynor.
