Mary Keegan's contribution as head of the government's accountancy service recognised with a Damehood

Mary Keegan, the government's head of accounting has been made a Dame.

Dame Mary received the gong as part of the Queen's Birthday Honours list.

Dame Mary left a high-flying career at PwC to become the head of the Accounting Standards Board before taking up her role as the Treasury's finance boss.
