The latest CBI/KPMG
London Business Survey has revealed that three-quarters (74%) of
London businesses have had
problems finding skilled staff.
This is a marked increase on the three-fifths (61%) who reported similar
problems a a year ago and less than half (49%) in January 2005.
Furthermore, four-fifths (81%) of the capital's employers expect to encounter
further shortages over the next six months.
Ian
