Blacks Leisure FD in line for CEO role

Takes over on an interim basis

The ousting of Russell Hardy as chief executive of retailer Blacks Leisure, has seen Keith Fleming, the company’s finance director, take over on an interim basis.

City analysts believe Fleming is a front runner for the permanent job.

David Bernstein, the chairman of Blacks Leisure, confirmed to the Daily Telegraph, that he was a candidate for the role.

Hardy was ousted after presided over three profit warnings in less than 12 months.
