This year could prove a great opportunity to grab your chance. The Centre for Economics and Business Research claims that the number of jobs available to accountants and financial executives in the City of London will rise by more than 4,000, from 338,400 in 2006 to 342,600 in 2007.
The rise in job vacancies isn’t quite at the record levels of last year due to a more cautious industry, but there is still plenty out there to tempt ambitious accountants.
