Intuit appoints former Sage exec as MD

Intuit brings in Richard Bee to replace Susan Lazareff as UK MD in surprise move

Written by Nicholas Neveling

Former Sage executive Richard Bee has been appointed as UK managing director of Intuit, the financial software business, replacing former incumbent Susan Lazareff.

Lazareff had only held the role for about 18-months, making Bee's appointment something of a surprise.

At Sage, Bee led the customer relationship management solutions business. He will focus developing Intuit's Quickbooks software, including its payroll products.

'Unlike our competitors Intuit has grasped the need for software that makes excellent financial management easy to achieve and an enabler for growth and innovation,' said Bee.
