Crimewatch asks for help in abduction case

Written by AccountancyAge.com

The mystery surrounding the kidnapping of Scottish accountant Andrew Ramsay will be aired on the BBC’s Crimewatch tonight as police appeal to the public for help.

Ramsay, 51, was last seen in February outside his home when he was abducted by two men posing as police officers who said he was under arrest.

Police will show an e-fit of one of the men who pretended to be a detective and bundled Ramsay into a waiting car.

Ramsay was due to appear in a Glasgow High Court case as a witness in a fraud trial concerning money-laundering.

A £5,000 reward from Crimestoppers has also been posted for information on the whereabouts of Ramsay.
