Strike won’t affect ICAS enrolment

Students can enroll without final degree results

Written by AccountancyAge.com

Students wishing to enroll at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland will still be able to do so despite industrial action taken by UK higher education staff, which could delay the publication of final degree results.

They will be able to enrol even if they are unable to confirm their final degree result on the date they start their training with the institute.

ICAS said it hope this decision would ‘reassure employers and students at a very stressful time’

The institute said it would work with employers to ensure that students are not penalised.
