Contact details for information commission registration

Time is running out for accounting firms to inform the information commissioner that they hold key client information on databases

Written by AccountancyAge.com

All accounting firms need to register with the information commissioner's office (ICO) if they hold key client information on databases as soon as possible, or face the prospect of prosecutions and fines.

It is understood that 9,000 firms have still not registered, and time is running out.

Any firms that still need to register their details should call the notification hotline on 01625 545 740 or visit the ICO website at www.informationcommissioner.gov.uk
