Ferries travels across to French Duncan

Euan Ferries joins Scottish chartered accountants French Duncan as director of corporate advisory

Written by James Bennett

French Duncan has appointed Euan Ferries as director of corporate advisory.

Prior to joining the Glasgow-headquartered firm, Ferries – an experienced corporate financier – worked for visual services business ADS Visual, and was a senior manager at BDO Stoy Hayward.

French Duncan’s corporate division was rebranded as a corporate advisory department following the appointment of partner Graeme Finnie in May this year. According to the firm, this was in order to 'more closely reflect a broader approach to advice offered to clients on all aspects of their business on an ongoing basis'.

Finnie, said: ‘Both Euan and myself have direct industry experience, which is uncommon for corporate advisory personnel in accountancy firms.

‘Our offering is broader than that of most corporate finance departments; extending beyond the confines of corporate finance into corporate advisory work, strategic advice and ongoing assistance with all the managerial aspects of running a business, from financial management through to its strategic direction and assistance with the implementation of that strategy.’
