Another Valentine's Day story, this time a shameless attempt from Baker Tilly to jump on the sex and tax bandwagon.

But unfortunately this story veers towards the more seedy side of life.

Apparently, according to Baker Tilly's tax experts, a tribunal has ruled VAT cannot be charged on the professional services offered by prostitutes.

TS is sure many a call girl has worried over her VAT returns, and is relieved they will not have to do so in the future. But, according to the mid-tier firm: 'It isn't known whether Customs will take this defeat lying down or if it will seek to mount an appeal.' Very subtle...
